Telltale Games is a company behind the famous point-and-click games such as Game of Thrones, Guardians of the Galaxy and The Walking Dead. Even though these story-based games have been a huge success in the gaming industry, Telltale Games announced on Friday that the company is closing and that all its projects are being canceled as well.

“Today, Telltale Games has made the tough decision to start closing a major studio after a year marked by insurmountable challenges. Most of the company’s employees were dismissed early in the morning with a small group of 25 employees remaining to meet an obligation of the company with their board and partners, “said an company in an official press release.

Games canceled
All titles released by Telltale Games were successful and an company was scheduled to launch a lot of new games in the near future. Among those games, Netflix had two games aligned. The games are “Minecraft: Story Mode” and a point-and-click game on “More peculiar Things”.

The news that Telltale Games is being deactivated means that we will never see this game anytime soon. However, Netflix saw how many people were expecting the “Minecraft: Story Mode” and “More peculiar Things” to release and decided to announce that there is still hope.

Netflix will continue to produce “Telltale”
Netflix has announced that the two games it plans to launch in the future are not being discarded. Not only that, but Netflix has promised it will continue to produce “Minecraft: Story Mode” and “More interesting Things” to provide a fun gaming experience to fans.

The question that remains is when will Netflix launch these games? Public square that Telltale is gone, we do not know who will be responsible for the production of both games and therefore Netflix can not give us an information on when they will be released.
